For years, professional and amateur pool players have needed a global, unbiased rating system, a method for keeping track of your play - and comparing yourself to others.

The Global Pro Rating System provides a simple to use, effective method of monitoring your play. By keeping track of your overall wins compared to the amount of games you have played, we calculate a ratio that is your Pro Rating. Similar to a baseball players’ batting average, your 3 digit score is an indicator of your playing ability. Over time, and after enough matches played, your ratio will reflect your talents as compared to others. Your PRS (Pro Rating System) Score does not become Officially Certified until at least 300 games have been monitored and submitted.

This system works for any game, any tournament, and almost all formats
(does not work for ring games).
By simply tracking your wins compared to the amount of games you play, we can determine an accurate indicator of your performance. Playing in events that utilize the Pro Rating System will enable all pool players to collectively advance our sport to a new level. The Pro Rating System also provides a framework and independent system for amateurs to monitor their play and eventually earn their way to a professional level.

Also, the ability to track your progress and monitor your scores against poolplayers around the world is exciting! Players can simply visit the website to check their stats, based purely on win percentages, against players everywhere. There is no sandbagging, no handicapping, no mitigating factors... you are either a consistent winning player, or you aren't!

We supply the necessary amount of scorecards and materials for the event, for a nominal fee. Afterwards, the tournament director sends us the totals for each player and we update our database. Our website will show the current ratings for all registered players, based on total games played, total games won, and your 3-digit PRS Score.
